FASHION DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT INTERN

ADAY is an e-commerce brand creating technical clothing for everyday life. We believe your wardrobe deserves to be as technical as your activewear so we’re reimagining everyday staples with intelligent fabrics, construction and design.
We are looking for an awesome individual to work with the ADAY fashion team across all things fashion design, development and production. Throughout your internship you will be learning first hand the production and product development processes within the fashion industry. In your internship you will help to source new innovations and materials, adjust flat drawings in Adobe Illustrator, assist with pattern cutting and sampling, update technical packages and learn about all aspects of design, development and production. You will also engage in weekly meetings and participate in brainstorms and discussions with the rest of ADAY team.
The role can be directed by your own strengths, curiosities and interests. If you are interested we’d also love to help you learn about other aspects of e-commerce such as brand building, community, operations and marketing. We are predominantly looking for someone who is excited to learn the skills and understanding to build the foundations of a fashion brand.

Our designs use innovative materials and technical finishes that push the boundaries of both creativity and functionality. Maintaining such a balance is the enduring challenge of our product team.
The person we are looking should have the following:
Passionate about the intersection of fashion and performance
Excellent understanding of technical development
Excellent sewing and pattern cutting abilities
Creative thinker looking to push boundaries of what is possible
Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Passion to learn and develop new skills
